OR NOIR 🟡⚫ Jersey

Celebrating the very first AFCON trophy won by Côte d’Ivoire 30 years ago, a special jersey has been released.

Named "OR NOIR", it is a nod to the glory and the gold medals offered to winners.
In addition to black and gold for royalty, this jersey has gold and silver dust-like patterns all over the body of the jersey. Moreover, the top stripes are a nod to the jerseys used by the team for the game that made them champions of Africa, or shall we say, the kings of African football.

Since gold holds such an importance in African culture, it was only right and fair to design "OR NOIR", which means "Black Gold", but it is simply to mean BLACK WITH GOLD, as a way to put light on the players, covered in gold, who brought a different type of glory to their nation.
